Brazil Terra Nova 500g Whole Beans

Catuai Varietal from the Chapada Diamantina region in Piata, Bahia, this lot comes from an immaculately kept farm. Sitting about 1260 metres above sea level, conditions are perfect for coffee growing with temperatures ranging from 10 to 17 degrees celcius. Cherries are pulped daily and the farm has two terraces for drying the pulped coffee, aswell as a newly installed mechanical dryer. After drying, the lots are store in purpose made silos ready for transportation.
The farm also runs a literacy learning for all its employees and others from this region using a built classroom completed early this year.
The use of pesticides on the farm is minimised and carefully monitored, and native vegetation is protected wherever possible.
